“There are three responses to a piece of design – yes, no, and WOW! Wow is the one to aim for.”

 Orsi NAGY

I’m Orsi. A Budapest based product designer, engineer, graphic designer, amateur interior stylist, DIY person, daughter of my mother, friend of my friends, love of my love, and a free mind. For 2012 I have been graduated at Budapest University of Technology and Economics first in industrial design and product engineering BSc and later product engineering MSc. After my university studies I’ve jumped naively into the word of professional work, at the Béflex Ltd. I’ve gained valuable experiences in the fields of the marketing and advertising industry, of the product and technical development, of graphic design and prepress works, and of course about the pure reality of Hungarian SME sector. Since 2014, after some Y generation path-finding I am working on my own business as a graphic designer and I am running a lovely small apartment in the downtown of Budapest.

I was always an obsessed of visual appearance, designing of interior, beauties of shapes and patterns… my current room used to be always a victim of my constant home furnishing experimentation. Due to the studies at the university and the continuous self-training I acquired complex knowledge of all the arts, object- product- graphic design and marketing areas, including a complex control over the project from the beginning until the finishing. In recent years I was mainly focusing and working on graphic design and interior design. I constantly improve and update my knowledge and striving for perfection.

My philosophy is how Milton Glaser says “There are three responses to a piece of design – yes, no, and WOW! Wow is the one to aim for.”

I most likely design complex identities, logos and print. My works are typical of the pure, simple, no-frills graphics and restrained but expressive imagery and formal look.
